Hand stretches

Doing stretches with your hands and wrists often will help keep things limbered up.  You can improvise and be creative, but here are a couple of suggestions: hold hands with palms together and fingers pointing up, then move hands in all directions and stretch; make tight fists and release, stretching fingers out a few times (if you have longish fingernails this one won’t feel very good!); hold hands flat and stretch fingers wide; hold arms out straight and bend wrists down and up to stretch the muscles in your lower arms.
